If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success after a inebriated night out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and bet. The two just don’t mix.
Keeping your money out of the casino might be a bit drastic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is compulsory. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your assets without a worry, then drink all the gratis booze your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken head throws away every little thing!
Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then go on the internet to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but considering that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and bet.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it’s absolutely adequate to befuddle my judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
