Don’t Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beer every so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab whatever money you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You can experience a win following a boozy night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that account considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. The two just don’t go well together.

Leaving your money at home is a bit drastic, but preventative actions for excessive actions is required. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to blow your money without a worry, then drink all the gratis beer you can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated brain squanders all the cash!

Permit me to carry this one step further. do not drink and then head on the net to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, but considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can not drink and bet.

Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is absolutely adequate to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create an awful, and costly, cocktail.
